The Mom

My best and most rewarding achievement is my family. Between the pages of too many textbooks unfolded my personal life, full of excitements and also challenges. My children taught me “with much skill,” the value of patience and to be a compassionate doctor. They injected my life with love and humor to balance my days. My family is and will always be my energy and inspiration.
My favorite toy is my microscope! Aside from that I love the company of my Bichon (Alysse), playing piano and writing music. I am an avid architectural gardener and exercise intensely. I enjoy art, photography, poetry and writing. I am always learning something different and definitely not afraid of trying. Learning is healthy. In what is left of my time….. I sleep.
I take pleasure on sharing my professional and personal knowledge and experience and understand patients as I understand the humbling effect of disease.
Note: During the World Cup Soccer every four years my microscope is off. Go Ecuador!!
